Camp Frequently Asked Questions


If I sign my child up for multiple camp weeks will they be doing something different for each week of camp?

There will be some slight differences but most of the camps will be structured the same.

Do you offer extended care before and after the class?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide that at this time.  Drop of and pick up times must be adhered to.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes!  We do.  Just fill out the scholarship application and submit it.

Will you be providing lunch or snacks?

No, all students must bring their own lunch and snacks as well as a refillable water bottle.

My child takes medication that they must take during camp time, will your staff help with this?

Any medication that must be taken during camp time must be listed on your form and the student must be able to administer the medication themselves.

Will there be a showcase at the end of the week?

Yes, there will be an informal showcase on the final day of the camp where family and friends can come and see what the kids have been working on.

Are there snacks and drinks available for purchase on campus?

No, there are not.

What should my student wear?

Students’ should wear comfortable clothing that they will be comfortable moving around in. They should also bring a jacket or sweater in case they get cold. Please make sure all clothing is modest. Shorts should be no shorter than the fingertips. Students will wear their camp shirt on Friday for the showcase.

What is your policy on electronics?

We find that electronics are a distraction to the creative process and for bonding with the class.  Please leave electronics at home including headphones.  If you would like your student to have their phone in case of emergency please make sure that the student puts it in their bag and only uses it if absolutely necessary.

Are your staff members trained in First Aid, CPR and AED?

There will always be a staff member on site who is trained in First Aid, CPR and AED.

What can my student expect their experience to be at your Theatre Camp?

What time is the camp?

Camp will be from 9am - 3pm Monday through Friday.

Is this camp at the George Theatre?

No, this camp will be at Veritas Academy.
