Winter Classes 2010

Kindergarten – 1st Grade - Thursdays, January 14 - March 4th @4:30 to 5:30 p.m., $125
“Musical Theater”: Kindergarten and first grade students, who love to sing and dance, will enjoy movin’ and groovin’ to memorable Disney musical numbers such as ‘Never Had a Friend like Me,’ ‘Trashin’ the Camp’ and many more in our Musical Theater class.
2nd – 3rd Grade - Tuesdays, January 12 - March 2nd @4:30 to 6 p.m., $165
“Creating a Story”: The 2nd – 3rd graders will use creative drama to construct a play from beginning to end and learn all about what makes a well-told story. They will use their imaginations and creativity as tools to perform theatre.
4th – 6th Grade - Wednesdays, January 13 - March 3rd @4:30 to 6 p.m., $165
“Developing Observation and Concentration”: Students in this class will sharpen their senses, as they learn more about observing their fellow actors and concentrating on what is happening on the stage around them.
7th – 8th Grade - Mondays, January 11 - March 1st @4:30 – 6 p.m., $165
“In-Depth Character Study”: The 7th-8th graders will learn how to develop a character and transform it from the script into their voices and bodies. Students will have fun and step out of their comfort zones as they create vivid, entertaining characters.
9th – 12th Grade - Mondays, January 11 - March 1st @7:00 to 9:00 p.m., $175
“Improvisation”: Improvisation is a wonderful aspect of theatre that helps all actors think quickly and stay on there toes. It builds listening skills, as well as, develops confidence in front of an audience.
Adult Acting - Tuesdays, January 12 - March 2nd @7:00 – 9:00 p.m., $165
“Movement”: Walk in someone else’s shoes! Students will learn several different methods of movement and will learn how to use their bodies to transform into many different characters.
