“Intro. to Musical Theatre” - Kindergarten and first grade students, who love to sing and dance, will enjoy movin’ and groovin’ to memorable Disney musical numbers such as ‘Never Had a Friend like Me,’ ‘Trashin’ the Camp’ and many more in our Musical Theatre class.
2nd – 3rd Grade - Saturdays, September 17- November 19, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. , $205 (Saint St. Annex)
“Creating a Story” - Students will use creative drama to construct a play from beginning to end and learn all about what makes a well-told story. They will use their imaginations and creativity as tools to perform theatre.
4th – 6th Grade - Saturdays, September 17- November 19, 9 to 10:30 a.m. , $205 (Mainstage 2710 W. Alabama)
“Theatre Basics” Learn the basics of performing on stage with this 4th-6th grade class. Students will touch on all areas of performing, such as, diction, stage presence, expressing emotions, believability, character, etc. Learn the tools of the trade to build you into a better actor.
7th – 12th Grade - Saturdays, September 17- November 19, 10:45 to 12:45 p.m. , $215 (Mainstage 2710 W. Alabama)
“Advanced Scene Study” - This class will guide performers through rehearsals culminating in a performance of a scene from a play. Come gain some acting tools that you’ll be able to take with you to church dramas, community or professional theatre experiences.
Adult Acting - Mondays, September 12- November 14, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. , $205 (Saint St. Annex)
“Audition Process” - This class will sharpen your auditioning skills, whether with monologues or cold reads. Learn everything from what to wear, to how to make a lasting impression with directors and score that role!
