A story for everyone who has ever revisited memories of youth, Leaving Iowa follows Don, a middle-aged man who returns home to Iowa in search of a final resting place for his father's ashes. As he travels across the state searching for the perfect place to scatter the ashes, memories of childhood road trips with his father resurface, and he is finally able to come to peace with his past and present.
